Happy Halloween!!

We had a busy night; first we trick-or-treated in our apartment complex, then we went to a ward Halloween party, then we came back and went to a party at our neighbors house. Whew! Since Taiwan doesn't celebrate Halloween, everyone kinda stared at us walking down the street in our costumes. It was a regular 'Grimley family parade' with everyone honking and yelling, and we even had some people take our picture. I think some of them actually thought Nate was the pope. He walked around with his arms up 'blessing' people all night. I know some of the non-members that came to the ward party thought Nate was our church leader. (Yes, we know he is going to HE*@!)

pumpkin carving!!

Our traditional Halloween night dinner...meal in a pumpkin, mmmm...

I was brushing my teeth when I took a look at your blog. It was almost like the scene of laughing so hard you blow milk out your nose . . . but not quite. I did make it back to the bathroom where I continued to laugh.
Love the costumes and wish you were here so we could see your family in person!

Leone, please tell Nate I desperately need to borrow his costume. I have some neighbors who don't speak very good english and I need to tell them to turn their music down.
..and then I will go to Wal-Mart and follow certain people around the store and when they turn to look at me, I'll just give a big sigh and shake my head.

Leone! Hi! What a fun adventure! The other day I was looking at those pictures of the kids jumping on the bed, and they just made me laugh. I want to come and visit soon! Jake is now looking for a new job, and so we may be moving. We will have to see where we end up, maybe Asia?
