moving day

After more than 3 months of living out of our suitcases, that moving van was a welcome sight! I thought that finally today we would have all of our stuff back! If I had really thought it through, I would have realized that just because the boxes get here doesn't mean I'll be able to find ANYTHING! There's no way we could possibly go through all those boxes in a day...or two...or twelve...why do we need all this stuff anyways?

So now we have a warehouse of boxes in our basement. They are all marked with Chinese characters and some awesome chinglish, most of which say 'ornaments'.

Oh my gosh, you have still been living out of your suitcase?! I am so sorry, I just assumed you didn't feel like blogging. Good Luck going through all of those... it is good to have you back though.

If you aren't saving the boxes when you get them emptied then you should rip them open flat and take them to the park to play. You just tape the overlapping edges together and make a slide down a steep hill. They use one box for a mat and slide down. Your boys would love it!

Ah, just throw it all way. You'll never miss it. Afterall it's just stuff, right? How do we get so wrapped up in stuff. It's amazing!

OMGoodness! Wow. What a pain... at least you got your stuff though, right? I'm sure that half of it is just all the souvenirs you bought anyway, so you may not need it for awhile if you don't get around to unpacking. :P

Good luck unpacking..probably the worst of all necessary evils. I loved reading your take on Taiwan! We miss you here. Thanks sooooo much for the Easter candy. We are so happy to get it. You are so thoughtful. Miss you here. Great blog! Not as boring as mine.
